Searching multiple websites and waiting in long queues to buy tickets or book shows can be frustrating when visiting an amusement park. NetBramha Studios recognized this issue and embarked on a journey to create a solution that would enhance the amusement park experience. Through extensive research and interviews with stakeholders, they developed Semnox, a mobile app that aims to make amusement park visits more delightful than ever.
Semnox stands out as the first of its kind digital interface that seamlessly integrates with various arcades and amusement parks. The app's strength lies in its ability to work across different venues, offering customizable branding colors and offerings. By modularizing and designing components that can be easily plugged in, NetBramha Studios ensured that Semnox can cater to the unique needs of each amusement park.
Designed primarily for Android and iOS phones with screen sizes ranging from 4.5 inches to 6.5 inches, Semnox provides a visually appealing and user-friendly interface suitable for individuals aged 14 to 60 years. The app's user interface and brand guidelines were meticulously crafted using Sketch App, InvisionApp, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop. The development team received the design specifications through Zeplin, ensuring a smooth transition from design to implementation.
Operating Semnox is a breeze, thanks to its intuitive navigation and user-friendly features. Users can plan their activities, purchase tickets, recharge cards, and even use QR codes to activate tickets. The app also allows users to book events and shows, as well as navigate through the amusement park using interactive maps. Semnox truly empowers users by providing a self-service platform that eliminates the need for manual requests, freeing up more time for fun and enjoyment.
NetBramha Studios faced several challenges during the development of Semnox. The diverse set of audience and their varying needs posed initial difficulties in formulating the requirements. However, through an iterative and sprint approach, the team was able to overcome these challenges and arrive at a solution that caters to all brands and amusement parks. The app's success can be attributed to the extensive user research conducted, which provided valuable insights and feedback for continuous improvement.
